Jeffrey Nolan – Senior Counsel, Holland & Knight
Jeffrey Nolan is an education and employment attorney based in Holland & Knight’s Boston office who represents, advises, educates and helps clients nationwide manage conflicts, enhance the safety of individuals and environments, and successfully navigate the maze of legal obligations faced by educational institutions and employers.
Mr. Nolan represents and advises colleges, universities and independent schools throughout the United States regarding situations that implicate Title IX, the Clery Act, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and other laws that apply in the higher education context.
Mr. Nolan’s publications regarding fair, equitable trauma-informed investigation approaches were cited many times in the Preamble to the May 2020 Title IX regulations.

Carrie Hull – Founder, Certified FETI
Carrie Hull is the Executive Director for the You Have Options Program, the Director of Certification for Certified FETI and operates her private consulting firm Carrie Hull Consulting where she primarily focuses on working directly with specialized units within law enforcement agencies around the globe and providing customized interviewing services to corporations, institutions of higher learning and government agencies.
Formerly, Carrie Hull was a detective with the Ashland Police Department, an instructor with the Oregon Sexual Assault Training Institute where she taught best practices in sexual assault investigations to law enforcement officers across the nation, served as a member of the Legislative and Public Policy Committee for the Oregon Sexual Assault Task Force, and was a Senior Associate with Margolis Healy in addition to serving as faculty for the National Center for Campus Public Safety (NCCPS) instructing at their Trauma-Informed Sexual Assault Investigation and Adjudication Educational Program.
